Hello Bogey,
You are quite the handsome cat. How old are you? What is your daily routine like?

Sylvia,
Thank you for the nice compliment.  I’m the official mascot of MyThreeCats.com.  I’ve been working here since 1998, ever since my Mom adopted me from the local shelter.  She claims I was the most gregarious cat there, getting along very well with the other cats and with the volunteers.  One volunteer used to allow me to ride on his shoulders as he went about his daily routine!  He actually cried when I was adopted, but said that he knew I was going to lead a very wonderful life.

I am now 16 (they think, since I have no records).   I’m still doing just fine.  My Mom gives me daily medication for my heart and a daily hug and kiss.  So does my Dad.  I really think they love me very much.  I have fans around the world who write to me.  I’ve actually been on a local TV show, a national magazine, and many web sites.  One time, AOL posted my picture on their pet site, and my photo was entered into their pet photo contest without my knowledge.  People voted on my photo – pretty amusing stuff.

I’m pretty content in my older age.  I suppose having a trusting, laid back attitude has helped.  Have you visited my blog?  It is
www.bogeysblogsphere.wordpress.com  Please check it out often!  Please tell all of your cat loving friends about my blog and my web site at www.mythreecats.com!  We ship to Canada a lot and have many friends there.

Happy Tails,
Bogey

Bogey,
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your letter.  I was quite surprised to receive a reply so promptly.  I thank you for this.  I must say you certainly know how to compose a very descriptive profile about yourself  and your accomplished.  I see why your Mom decided to take you home.  I hope you won’t blush when I say you are an intelligent feline.  I wish you were mine but I do have two beautiful kitties of my own.  One I adopted when she was a kitten from a young man who was hoping to find a good home due to the fact that he chose to study in Florida.  She is grey in color and will turn 19 in the month of August.  She looks very much like a Russian Blue but I don’t believe she is a purebred.  My other lovely kitty is a rescue.  Her story is an  amusing one.  One summer evening, while my parents were enjoying time on the front porch, my mother spotted a svelte white colored feline meandering about the vicinity.  For some reason my mother called her over, not expecting her to respond.  Respond she did.  She came running up the steps and onto my parent’s porch.  Well the ending to this story is that she’s had a permanent home ever since.  I often get the understanding that she is quite grateful for our decision.  I say “our” because she is shared by both myself and my parents.  You see, I live above my parents.  We are one big happy family.  I hope you find my “profile” an interesting one.

Sincerely,
Your devoted friend, Sylvia
P.S.  How silly of me, I forgot to mention my feline companions’ names.  They are Gaspard and Snowhite.
